WELCOME

Liza Rimsky, PhD, PMH-C is a licensed clinical psychologist offering psychotherapy treatment in-person in midtown NYC and Westchester, NY, and via telehealth in NY, CT, FL, NJ and VT.

My work is informed by the theory that our internal maps are drawn in the presence of others, often during our earliest experiences, and accentuated when we encounter profound transitions such as adolescence, partnership, and becoming a parent. The treatment I offer is a collaborative, curious inquiry into deep-seated relational patterns, using insight as a compass and integrating empirically-validated treatments as intervention. Together, we move beyond the immediate relief of symptoms toward a more integrated sense of self and lasting capacity for reflection, connection, and resilience.

I am currently accepting new patients for individual and dyadic (couples, parent-child) treatments and I offer group psychotherapy for expectant parents.
